Mary in the morning

Yesterday was one of those perfect days. The Arizona weather sanctioned all outdoor activities with it's clear skies and gentle wind. I called a friend and we spent it on the open country side. My Honda 600cc Silverwing clocked 302.7 miles. Some of that on the interstate, keeping up with traffic at 75+ mph but most of it on lesser winding roads amongst the beautiful mountains and landscapes. Sometimes I'd follow and sometimes I got to lead. Quite a feeling for me who only has exactly 5671miles of riding experience and learned mostly alone after I saw this beautiful machine and asked my self,"Why couldn't I learn to ride it". That learning process didn't come easy as you can read in a subsequent Honda Red Rider Magazine. I will tell you that learning and doing it, instead of giving in to my fears has taught me still more about myself and how to help others. The biggest keys are the same as in life. "Don't loose track of where you are going, Keep aware of what is around you, and sometimes you just have to HANG ON and ride 'IT' out." Besides seeing the huge falling stars, it is even an experience to be on the open road with Fire Works in front of you then hear them over your head. After the dance when I am snuggled in bed alone, thinking, "That was just the most perfect day. I am so lucky.", of course my thoughts wondered to what would it have been like if I would have been with Richard or the man I am meant to be with for the rest of my life. Conclusion was that how does one "better' PERFECT? We can't !! God willing, there will be more "Perfect Days" with different People , Places and Things. The best is to enjoy what we have, share and care. Thanks for this new opportunity of Blogging. Since I am in AZ.without family, You All are my newest Friends
